 I have so many feed-backs but I'm a very busy person  so I have not  been able to attend to all  of them,  however this one below caught my attention .

Dear Sir,

Read your article on make money from oil/blogspot. I seek the
following information;

1. Whats the cost of a 3 compartment tanker? Truck Head + Tanker Compartment

2. Whats the capacity of a 3 compartment wet cargo tanker?
3. How much is the cost of cargo carried by the tanker - Diesel and PMS
4. How many times does the cargo turnaround in a year on the average?
ie how many times does the tanker fill up and deliver cargo in a year,
on the average?
5. How much fuel is used up by tanker (on the average) in a year to
take fuel from Lagos to North, Lagos to the East, Lagos to South,
Lagos to West, Lagos to North Central etc.....on the average
6. How much is the cost of the driver on the average in a year?
Salaries, Allowances etc
7. If diesel is mixed with kerosine, how can it be detected?

Any information given would help me alot towards my final year project.

A tanker head is usually between 4.5million - 8million Naira depending on the maker. Most times people buy Tanker heads from Cotonou. For the compartment, it depends on the welder making it and each compartment contains 11,000litres. For the three compartments and the installation of it, it may cost between 1.5-3 million naira. However you can get prices for all these at Lagos-Ogun expressway. The cost of cargo carried by a tanker depends on the depot price of the product you buy. For example if PMS at the depot is 87naira and you buy 11,000 or 33,000 litres, do the maths. AGO(Diesel) at the depot as at last week was 136naira. Turnaround per year depends on demand of petroleum products. Some filling stations require 6 trucks of PMS per week, while others require 3 trucks so turnaround depends on demand. But for a single tanker, a truck can load and deliver twice a week depending on the distance. If the distance is Lagos to ABUJA, the truck can load and deliver once a week. Salary of driver depends on how you negotiate with the driver, some tanker owners pay their drivers 50kobo / 1naira per litre. That is, it is until when the truck loads they pay them.
